Here are a few things you can do to make your listing photo friendly:

  • Remove all personal belongings (picture frames, report cards, gaming consoles, electronics, used soaps/shampoos etc.).

  • Turn on all lights and open all window coverings.

  • Make sure all toilet seats are down.

  • Staging – Yes it can get pricey BUT it gives potential buyers a favourable impression of the property which in turn will help sell your listing faster.

  • Declutter as much as possible! We want to make your space look as large as possible and removing clutter helps considerably.

  • Cars should be moved out of the driveway.

  • The lawn should be mowed.

  • Any tools, toys or other items should be put away.

  • Cushions should be put on outdoor furniture.

  • Adding place settings on backyard tables can be a nice touch.

  • Barbecue covers, pool covers and hot tub covers should all be removed when possible.

  • All blinds inside the house should be left open.
